چکیده
The supplementation of different ω-6/ω-3 ratio to the diets laying hens has been studied evaluate effects on performance, egg quality, health indices, fatty acid profiles, and immune response. One-hundred twenty, 50-weeks-old were divided into three groups fed with polyunsaturated acids (PUFA) at ratio: 16.7:1, 9.3:1, 5.5:1, respectively. Each group contained eight replicates five hens. Hens diet highest had significantly increased weight gain compared those 5.5:1 9.3:1 ratios. In contrast, ratios laid more eggs, mass, greater livability, a better FCR than control group. However, PUFA showed improved thrombogenic, atherogenic, hypocholesteremia, hypocholesteremia/hypercholesteremia indices. conclusion, while enriched ω-3 in eggs boosted response

Effects of simultaneous supplementation of laying hens with α-linolenic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid/docosahexaenoic acid resources on egg quality and n-3 fatty acid profile
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of simultaneous supplementation of laying hens with alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) resources (flax, perilla, and Eucommia ulmoides [E. ulmoides] seeds) and eicosapentaenoic acid/docosahexaenoic acid (EPA/DHA) resources (Schizochytrium sp.) on egg quality and n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) profile. METHODS Dietary treatments we...

In this study, the effects of boric acid and humate supplementation into hen diets on egg production and quality parameters and blood cholesterol levels were examined. For this aim, totally 160, 40 weeks of age, Hyline-White 98 layers were randomly divided into control and 3 treatment groups each containing 40 birds and 10 replicates (each with 4 birds). There was no boric acid or humate supple...

The study was conducted to evaluate the effects of different dietary oil sources supplementation on laying hens’ performance and fatty acids profile of egg yolks. Seventy-two 23-week-old laying hens (Tetra-SL) divided into six experimental diets (four replicates and three birds per replication) in a completely randomized design for nine weeks. Experimental diets were included: 1) control (no oi...
متن کاملMarine ω-3 Fatty Acid Intake
OBJECTIVE To examine usual marine omega-3 fatty acid (mO-3FA) intake in individuals with diabetes; its association with adiposity, lipid, and glucose control; and its changes with behavioral lifestyle intervention for weight loss. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS Cross-sectional and 1-year longitudinal analyses were performed on 2,397 Look AHEAD (Action for Health in Diabetes) participants. Look A...
متن کاملDesigner laying hen diets to improve egg fatty acid profile and maintain sensory quality
The fatty acid composition of eggs is highly reflective of the diet of the laying hen; therefore, nutritionally important fatty acids can be increased in eggs in order to benefit human health. To explore the factors affecting the hen's metabolism and deposition of fatty acids of interest, the current research was divided into two studies. In Study 1, the fatty acid profile of eggs from Bovan Wh...
